| January 23, 2013 On January 22, Koji Yakusho's official site announced that Yakusho was nominated as 'Best Actor' for the 36th Japan Academy Award following his roles in two films, namely "Waga Haha no Ki" / "Chroicle of My Mother" and "Rengo Kantai Shirei-Chokan: Yamamoto Isoroku" /ADMIRAL YAMAMOTO: The Untold Story of the Pacific War". October 22 Koji Yakusho's official website introduced three websites regarding Yakusho's recent visit to the 32nd Hawaii Film Festival. One website is an interview with Yakusho. October 12 In his blog on October 11, Director Masato Harada wrote that on October 8, his 2011 TV drama, "Early Autumn", starring Koji Yakusho, was nominated in the TV Movie/Mini-Series for the 2012 International Emmy Award. (The Lying Game) Breakout Films / Aperto Films / Sirena Film / Canal+ FranceTV Movie/Mini-Series October 8 To mark the release of Masayuki Suo's new film, "Terminal Trust" on October 27, the Masayuki Suo Film Festival was held in Roppongi, Tokyo on October 8. The films shown were "Shiko Funjatta", "Shall we dance?" and "Soredemo Bokuwa Yattenai". Prior to the showing of these films, some of the cast members greeted the audience, namely Koji Yakusho, Naoto Takenaka, Yu Tokui, Hiromasa Taguchi, Ryo Kase, Asaka Seto and Tamiyo Kusakari. October 3 Koji Yakusho's official site announced on October 2 that "The Woodsman and the Rain" by Shuichi Okita will be shown on October 14 and 16 during the 32nd Hawaii International Film Festival (October 11--21, 2012). In addtion,Yakusho's official site announced that during this festival Koji Yakusho will be presented with the 'Career Achievement Award' at the time of the showing of "The Woodsman and the Rain" and also that Yakusho himself will go to Hawaii to receive that award. September 27 The premiere for "Tsui no Shintaku / The Terminal Trust" was held in Tokyo on September 19 with the presence of Director Masayuki Suo, Tamiyo Kusakari, Koji Yakusho and Takao Osawa.
