,2011 Takashi Miike's 3D film, "Ichimei", starring Ebizo Ichikawa, (which is the remake of Masaki Kobayashi's "Seppuku / Harakiri" (1962), starring Tatsuya Nakadai) has been selected for entry in the official competition at the 64th Cannes International Film Festival. Koji Yakusho appears in this film in the role of Kageyu Saito, which was played by Rentaro Mikuni in "Seppuku" in 1962. |
